Get Rid of it!
Who is Jesus?
Who is Jesus?
When we are asked a question with the word "Who" in front of a persons name, generally something comes to mind. The "who" in the question causes you to think about what that person means to you.
When we put "who" in front of Jesus , how do you answer that?
In John 14:6 Jesus says to the disciples that he is the way, the truth and the life.
Jesus tells them he is three things that everyone desires. We desire to know the way in life, not to mention how to get to heaven. We desire to know the truth in life. Finally we desire to have life.
Jesus tells the disciples that he is all three.
If this is true, which I believe with all of my heart that it is, then this is great news for you and me.
Jesus is the way to get to God in heaven, the only way. He is the road that leads .
Jesus is the truth, he only speaks the truth. He is life.
Think about it, Jesus came to the earth and was beaten up and killed , but then he rose from the dead 3 days later.
Now he can say , I am the way, I am the truth and I am the life.
He did it for you and me so we can get into heaven, and have life forever eternally , but also have a better life on this earth.
Jesus is everything he says, because he can back it up ! He is the truth!
Who is he to you today, if he is not these things give him a chance.
Remember as you go through your life as a christian, others will say they are the way, the truth and the life, don't believe them. Jesus is the truth, and when you believe that, the other two (that he is the way and the life)can take a place in your life.
Offering yourself.
Daily we need to realize what God has done for us.
Daily we need to offer ourselves to live for Jesus Christ because of what he has done for you.
Daily we need to protect ourselves from not offering ourselves to God and going the way the world teaches.
Daily we need to watch what we think.
Daily we need to let Gods will for us unfold.
How many are you doing daily?
It is a process , a journey, daily.
Get your Bible and turn to Romans 12:1-2.
Take a couple of minutes and read the above scripture and think about it. Compare it to what is written above in this blog.
Ask God to help you to offer yourself daily to Jesus.
It is a really good decison for your life!
